About me

I don’t believe in fate. My background doesn’t allow me to. What’s more, I don’t believe that Conservative Future is consigned to a fate, either.

Michael Rock has done excellent service as National Chairman. He ran with a pledge to make CF more open and accessible to its members. In that, I think he has succeeded. But further work has to be done. I intend to ensure that this progress is delivered.

I believe that CF needs more subsidiarity. Members have to feel as though they own their little part of CF, and as though they get something from it that they value.  That’s the only way to move CF beyond small cliques and into the wider world.

But that does not mean not having ideas for leadership. I will lay them out, in black and white.  I’m running on a sound manifesto, not an uncertain consultation.

I’ve spoken to a vast number of CF members from across the country. I will be unveiling what they’ve said, and I truly believe, to be the best path forward: not just for Conservative Future, but to bring about a conservative future.
