Construction work began today on the Hampstead Heath ponds – causing traffic, noise, and disruption to our Heath. The Dams works will involve thousands of lorry movements on the Heath, disturbing its tranquility and undermining its beauty.

Over 1,000 letters of objection and a 14,000-signature petition were ignored by Camden Council in granting permission for the works, which will leave the Heath scarred.

With Simon Marcus and a huge number of residents, I have been strongly opposed to the Dams project. If elected to represent you, I would fight to continue Simon’s work and prevent further unnecessary developments affecting our Heath.

If you find the disturbance affecting you or your enjoyment of the Heath, please do get in touch.
